Includes: letters by Arthur Conan Doyle, John Galsworthy, David Hume, T. E. Lawrence, and H. G. Wells; a manuscript page by T. E. Lawrence; a group of items relating to James Joyce's Ulysses, comprising a card inscribed by Joyce, a letter from Sylvia Beach to Dora Marsden, a draft and printed version of a protest against a pirated version of Ulysses, and notices and subscription forms for works by Joyce; clippings about several of these authors; letters from rare book dealers and various friends to Paul Fodder (including Doyle expert Peter Blau); printed ephemera; clippings; and spine labels from copies of Johnson's Dictionary.
