This collection contains bills and letters related to Peter, Naomi, and William Verstille. Included in the collection are bills for textiles, travel, horse keeping, and making frames; a letter from Naomi to Peter describing her arrival in Boston in 1776; a letter to Peter from Benjamin Carnes in 1756 asking Peter to check market prices for specific items on his trip to Saco, ME; a promissory note from Amea Porter to Peter Verstille; a letter to Philadelphia painter William Westerly describing damage to one of William Verstille's paintings; and an account of William Verstille against his father's estate.
