A letter acknowledging receipt of Mendinueta's letter of November 29, [1777], regarding the actions of Sargeant Joseph Maldonado in campaign against the Comanches, and another letter, marked No. 30, acknowledging receipt of Mendinueta's letter of November 1, [1777], in which Croix mentions losses to Comanches and Apaches. Signed by the Cav[alle]ro De Croix, [Commander General of the Internal Provinces].
