Photocopies of papers gathered by the Indian Civil Rights Task Force concerning the history of the Handbook of Federal Indian Law. The papers include correspondence, memos, reports, and financial papers, many of them relating to the 1957 second edition and the decision to further revise and reprint the Handbook. Some of the earlier material includes criticism of the book before its publication and other correspondence by Felix Cohen relating to his work on the project.
