Research notes and manuscripts. Divided into two major sections. One on religion and Mormonism contains notes on religious attitudes, a box of notes on sources of Mormon history in various repositories, bibliography cards on Joseph Smith. The section on education contains notes and papers concerning education in the State of Utah, particulary drafts and documents from the Utah School Study Committee, 1963-1964. Photographs of the "Book of Commandments" and first "Doctrine and Covents" removed and filed as a separate photo collection under the same number.
