Ethiopic psalter and other texts : manuscript, [16--?].

Ms. psalter together with other prayers and songs. Includes the "Song of Songs" (Solomon) on fols. 71v-80r, and "The Encomium of Mary," divided by the rubrics for reading each day of the week, fols. 81r-95v. On fol. 2v a recent onte on paper saying that "the book belongs to Asfaw, son of Mamrē [sic] Kidāna Mātyām ... On fol. 80v there is a Mawāset fragment, by a later, poor hand, which is a chant on the Annunciation (of the angel Gabriel to Mary). On fols. 102v-104r a short chronology in Amharic from Adam through the Ethiopian ruler Tēflos [sic]. On fols. 104r-105r there is another Mawāset fragment, chant for church service on the theme of the Crucifixion by another poor, later hand.
