Minutes of The Board of Commissioners constituted to examine claims for uniforms lost or destroyed by Militia or National Guard units while in the service of the United States since April 16, 1861, 1864-1866.

Section 3, Chapter 334, Laws of 1864 appointed the Comptroller, Secretary of State, Treasurer, Inspector General, and Quartermaster General as commissioners of a board mandated "to receive proof, ascertain and determine what regiments of the uniformed militia or National Guard have lost, worn out or destroyed their uniforms in the service of the United States" since April 16, 1861, "and to which uniforms shall be issued by the State."
