Oliver Ames, 1831- 1895, Governor of Massachusetts in 1887-1890. He was son of Oakes Ames, (1804-1873) and nephew of Oliver Ames (1807-1877), the President of Union Pacific Railroad Co. In 1873 he was named as one of the executors of his father' estate.
