Betty Greenfield Grossman graduated from Vassar and earned her Masters and Ph. D. degrees through Washington University. She had a long career in the; Education Department at the museum, initiating many programs (radio, TV, lectures, and auditorium events) which brought the community into an awareness and appreciation of the art world.
