Contains correspondence, photographs, clippings, exhibit boards, reports, plant lists and drawings documenting more than two hundred of Church's projects. Office records include a scrapbook of tearsheets of his published work, portraits, photographs, and exhibit boards. Photographs include images by photographers Carolyn Caddes, Maynard L. Parker, and Rondal Partridge. The bulk of the collection is comprised of project records for residential gardens, educational institutions and corporate landscapes. Included are photographs, correspondence, and drawings of the Stanford University, UC Berkeley, and UC Santa Cruz projects, as well as the Dewey Donnell garden (El Novillero), in Sonoma. Church collaborated with numerous architects, including William W. Wurster, and Wurster drawings can be found in Church's project files.
