The second is a certificate of membership for May Stone, dated 23 January 1908. The third is a certificate of membership for William E. Railey 25 June 1908, signed by Augustus Owsley and Jennie C. Morton.

Jennie Chinn Morton was born in Franklin County, Kentucky in 1838. Soon widowed after her marriage to John C. Morton of Hartford, Kentucky in 1860, she turned her time and attention to literary pursuits. Morton was a member of the Lyceum, a Frankfort literary society which was the progenitor of the revived Kentucky State Historical Society (now the Kentucky Historical Society).
