Art Collins started his career in the music business in 1975 working in Atlantic Records' promotion department. He joined Rolling Stones Records in 1977 and later became president of the company. In 1982, Collins left Rolling Stone Records and turned his attention to artist management, founding Art Collins Management in New York City.
