The collection consists of slides dated from 1968 to 1976 chiefly depicting images of the demolition of several buildings along Appian Way in Cambridge to make room for the expansion of the Harvard Graduate School of Education. The collection also includes images of Harvard Square, Gund Hall (Graduate School of Design) and Gutman Library construction, views of Harvard Yard in the summer and winter, Larsen Hall, houses being moved during the demolition process, and a few interior views of offices and rooms in the School of Public Health. The slides were taken by Douglas Porter.
