The redesign of Quincy Square was commissioned by the Cambridge Arts Council and dedicated in October 1997. It is located east of Harvard Square, at the intersection of Massachusetts Avenue, Harvard Street, and Quincy Street. At one-time, the half-acre lot was used for bus parking. The park now includes fieldstones with bronze inlays, a wrought-iron fence, pavings, and plantings.
