The Blanche A. Phillips and Dorothy J. Walls collection consists of textile cards and several publications belonging to the two women. Each textile card contains a swatch of fabric along with identifying information such as the fabric's name, colors, and price. The cards also provide a description of each sample, information on the weave, and a list of possible uses. In addition to these textile cards, the collection contains several publications on various types of china. Blanche A. Phillips was from Newfane, NY. Known as "Phil," she graduated from the Rochester Athenaeum and Mechanics Institute (RAMI) in 1915. Dorothy J. Walls was originally from Fairport, NY.
