The collection contains an autograph book of Diantha Cushman (1831-1838), holograph letters of John Greenleaf Whittier to Mrs. Pullen of Portland, Maine (1880 Dec. 18; 1888 May 18), various 19th-century photographs including Tom Thumb and his wife, Lavinia Warren Stratton; Kate Greenaway almanacks (1883, 1884) and Christmas greeting card, needlework pattern books, valentines and other greeting cards and a bill of sale for a sewing-machine (1864). Also a photostatic copy of mother and child drawing by Francesca Alexander.
