Includes six boxes of organizational correspondence, biographical information, meeting minutes, and reports; manuscript biographies of conscientious objectors and other war resisters for a projected book by Robert Horton; correspondence between the Central Committee for Conscientious Objectors and the Federal Bureau of Prisons; two boxes of financial and fundraising material; four boxes of correspondence and notes of prison visitors; 30 boxes of prisoner correspondence; also includes reference material about prisons, chaplaincy to prisons, amnesty for draft resisters, military prisoners, and the prisoner work strike at Danbury (Conn.) Prison, 1972. Correspondents include David Wesley Brown (program secretary), Russell Clausen (chair of the PVS board), Eric Corson (program secretary), Kay Horton , Robert Horton, and Fay Honey Knopp (d. 1995).
