Ruby Lindsay (1885-1919) was the sister of Norman Lindsay and wife of Bill Dyson. She was well known for her illustrations in the Bulletin, Lone Hand and Steele Rudd's Magazine. Ruby Lindsay had a studio at Oxford Chambers, 473-81 Bourke Street, Melbourne in 1908-9. In 1909 she married Will Dyson and went to live in England. She died in 1919 at the early age of thirty two, during the Spanish influenza epidemic. From the description of 28004 'And here comes Gretchen leading the goat' ...
