Ruby Lindsay (1885-1919) was the sister of Norman Lindsay and wife of Bill Dyson. She was well known for her illustrations in the Bulletin, Lone Hand and Steele Rudd's Magazine. Ruby Lindsay had a studio at Oxford Chambers, 473-81 Bourke Street, Melbourne in 1908-9. In 1909 she married Will Dyson and went to live in England. She died in 1919 at the early age of thirty two, during the Spanish influenza epidemic.
