Discussing his application to Lord Lionsdale and advising him on acquaintances who might help further his cause; mentioning mutual acquaintances; saying he is surprised Southey has "never tried the Drama" and noting that if he should ever write a play he should produce it in Edinburgh and not at one of "those immense London stages fit only for pantomime and raree show."
