E. A. Walters joined the Ford Motor Company in 1912 after Ford purchased Keim Mills of Buffalo, New York. A press operator, Walters worked in the Press Department at the Highland Park Plant. He later became Superintendent of the Pressed Steel Division of the Ford Rouge River Plant.
