Architectural records, 1953, 1988, mostly undated, include a wide variety of formats and types of architectural records, among them records of various buildings of Midland, Michigan, including the Church of the Nazarene, and other nearby buildings including: West Midland Community Center, Northwood Institute, Crown Petroleum, Inc., gas station, Midland County Santa Claus Workshop, West Midland County Parks, and parts of Midland Hospital. Also included are architectural records for Interlochen Music Camp, Kent Intermediate Schools, Bay Refining Company Station, Central Pumping Station, DePauw University Performing Arts Center, Kalamazoo Nature Center, the Leonard Refineries, Inc. service station and sign, Wayne State University Theater, Young Subdivision, Roscommon Congregational Church, Temple Beth-El, Spring Valley (N.Y.), and lamps and decks. Barstow (1941-1992) was well known in the Midland and Mount Pleasant, Mich., communities as an accomplished architect and supporter of Central Michigan University's (CMU) art programs.
