The collection consists of correspondence, photographs, and other records. Contained are Alonzo J. Morley's papers and records pertaining to the Drama Department of BYU in the 1920s. Also included are materials and photographs relating to Eloise Stewart Morley's career as a world tour guide. Family photographs and other memorabilia from the family of Alonzo and Eloise and of their ancestors are contained. Letters from Alonzo and Eloise's courtship are included. The collection also contains Dr. Morley's professional papers in the field of speech pathology.

Alonzo John Moley (1903-1995) was a professor at BYU who founded its first speech and hearing clinic. Alonzo John Morley was born 3 January 1903 in Moroni, Utah. He married Eloise Stewart 2 September 1925, and they had five children. He graduated from Brigham Young University in 1925. In 1928 he joined the faculty at BYU where he taught for 54 years.
