Leslie Stephen letters, 1874-1894.

The collection consists of ten letters, including: six letters to My dear sir, 1883-1888 and undated, contributors to the Dictionary of National Biography, all having to do with compiling the DNB, including lists of names to be included; three letters to Dear Davies, 9 June 1874, with specific comments about an article Davies had written, 22 June 1894, with news of a biography he is writing, and 14 Sept. 1894, thanking him for his letter and relating that he is struggling with his current project; to Dearest mother [his wife, Mary Stephen], 12 April 1891, thanking her for her care.
