Ella Florence Elliot papers, 1705-1791, 1876-1947.

Genealogical correspondence and research notes compiled 1897-1947. The research, centering on New England Families, 1620-1947, is in part the ancestry of Ella Elliot, including the families of Drake, Elliot, Hicks, Tucker, Ring, Urann and Spencer. Most of the material, however, is unrelated to Miss Elliot's ancestry and reflects genealogical research of a professional nature. This material includes vital records of New York and New England, particularly Mass. and N.H. There is a small amount of family papers consisting primarily of deeds, correspondence and receipts, 1705, 1741-1791, 1876-1931. Included among this material are two autograph books of Marion T. Drake. In addition, there are 43 photographs, 1892-1942, primarily of Miss Elliot's ancestors and descendants.
