Letter of Andrew Sutherland, 1780 September 22.

Photocopy of letter (Vulture off Tellers Point) from Captain Andrew Sutherland, commanding officer of the Vulture, to Major General Benedict Arnold concerning the violation of a truce established by a flag on Tellers Point. Although signed by Sutherland, the letter was in British Captain John André's hand to show that André was on board the Vulture for a meeting with Arnold.
