Includes papers relating to the estate of Amos Munn (1763-1805), who served in the Essex County Militia during the Revolution; documents retained by Silas Munn (1786-1873) as constable of Bloomfield Township and as justice of the peace for Essex County; diary (1851-1910) of Henry Benson Munn (1826-1910), born in Belleville, educated at the College of New Jersey (now Princeton University), practiced law in New Jersey, Wisconsin, and Washington, D.C., and was elected as mayor of Portage, Wis. (1858) and as a member of the Wisconsin Legislature (1859).
