Letter from Archibald S. McMillan to his wife, Fanny Cobb McMillan, Petersburg, Va., written while on a slave trading trip. A second letter dated April 12, 1848, to his wife describes problems encountered on another slave trading mission to Richmond. Also a letter dated October 17, 1903, from Dugald C. McMillan to sister-in-law Lula Holiday McMillan concerning the settlement of Archibald McMillan's second wife's estate.
