Traité de l'amour de Dieu composé des paroles les plus touchantes de S. Augustin, [18th century].

Manuscript in a single hand of a tract on the love of God, consisting almost entirely of quotations from the works of St. Augustine. The sources for the quotations are identified in marginal annotations in the same hand. The volume also contains, in the same hand, "Traite de l'aumosne, ou la doctrine de l'ecriture sainte et des saintes pères qui on écrit sur ce suiet est fidelement exposé." The extensive quotations from the Bible and patristic authors are identified in marginal annotations. Each work concludes with a table of contents.
