[Catalogue of papers in the State Paper office], [ca. 1687].

Manuscript, in a single hand, of a record of 16th- and 17th-century documents in the State Paper Office, arranged by topical lists and primarily in chronological order within each list. Lists include papers relating to ecclesiastical, civil, and military affairs in Ireland; admiralty and other marine matters; foreign trade, plantations, and discoveries, including documents relating to the East India Company and Massachusetts; Parliamentary affairs; London; domestic trade; and fishing and Greenland. The manuscript concludes with a list of persons employed by the kings and queens of England to negotiate in foreign kingdoms and states, and a list of treaties between England and other kingdoms. Laid in at the end of the volume is a chronological list of treaties titled "List of Original Treaties, Instruments, Ratifications, &c. remaining in the paper Office May 1687."
