A scrap book or crutch for a crippled memory, 1836.

Manuscript, in a single hand, of a collection of about 10 prose extracts and verses, mostly taken from biographies of Romantic writers. Sources include John Gibson Lockhart's Life of Sir Walter Scott; Francis Charles Laird's Lady Jane Grey and her times; and Robert Southey's Life of Cowper, as well as a poem by Byron followed by a brief biography of him and an extract from Edward Bulwer-Lytton's The student.
