Annals of staghunting, 1706-1709.

Manuscript of a comic chronicle of approximately sixty stag hunts held in Windsor Forest from September 1706 to June 1709, parts in mock-heroic couplets and blank verse. Identified participants include Queen Anne, Colley Cibber, Sir William Trumbull, and the masters of the royal buckhounds, Sir Suster Peyton and Walter Chetwynd. In addition to describing the hunts themselves, Baber details noteworthy events among the local gentry.
