[Historical miscellany], [ca. 1621].

Manuscript on paper, in multiple hands, of a collection of copies of over 1000 French entries on historical, political, and legal matters, ca. 1580 to ca. 1621, some heavily annotated. Many of the entries concern the history of protestantism and the Wars of Religion; other items include satirical verses such as a poem on Henry IV's mistress titled Tombeau De Gabrielle D'Estrees De Beaufort and another satirical poem titled Le Tout De La Cour; letters and documents between Charles de Gontaut, Duke de Biron and King Henry IV pertaining to the duke's arrest and execution; letters by Marie de Medicis, Regent for King Louis XIII; and a "liste des chevaliers de l'ordre du st. esprit de l'an 1620."
