Marie de Médicis, Queen, consort of Henry IV, King of France, 1573-1642
Marie de Médicis was the Italian born consort of Henry IV of France. Upon Henry IV's assassination in 1610 she served as regent for their son, Louis XIII, until he came of age at 13.
