Holograph account book, kept by Newell as an army carter during the French and Indian War. Brief daily entries describe travel from Farmington to Albany and Saratoga, 1758 May 17-August 11. Entries are preceded by "General Abercromby's order to Mr. Eliphalet Beecher." Other contents are accounts for carting and other labor; later accounts are possibly in a different hand.
