Hardin/Harding family genealogy collection, ca. 1972.

Notes by Dunn on the Hardin/Harding family genealogy which probably resulted in the typescript "Hardings and their roots" by Marion L. Dunn which led to eventual publication. The information is organized by generation dating back to 1567 in content. The collection traces the family back to the first Hardings in America, the children of John Harding of Barnstable, England. In addition to notes, the collection contains correspondence on the Harding family, queries and answers published in genealogy journals, and a family tree. It also includes a page on the descendants of Sir Robert Whitney.
