Stan Henry papers, 1966-2002 (bulk 1978-1998).

The Stan Henry papers primarily document his activities as an author and publisher, as an activist on behalf of people with AIDS, and as a social worker. The papers focus particularly on his work in these communities as a resident of Seattle, Washington from 1979 to 2003. The collection also contains extensive correspondence with friends and family that depicts Henry's exploration of his homosexual identity, as well as his connections to the international gay community. Correspondents include Howard Cruse, Michael Harris, members of the Olds family, Bill Schelly, and Vaughn Frick. In addition to correspondence, materials include literary manuscripts by Mr. Henry and others (including Howard Cruse, Michael Harris, Eva and Linda Olds, and Frick Vaughan), publications, ephemera, clippings, photographs, as well as some audio and video recordings.
