Autograph letter signed from Mrs. Jameson to Lord Francis Egerton [manuscript], 1829 Monday.

Mrs. Jameson refers to a conversation with Mr. Hayter concerning his drawings of Miss Kemble as Juliet; Hayter would like to see the recipient if possible. She is deeply interested in the drawings for which she has written remarks and explanations; the sketches are exquisite and she wishes they were in the recipient's hand. Letter addressed "Dear Sir." Footnote on p.476 refers to sketches in the possession of Lord Francis Egerton; recipient is possibly Egerton. Addressed from 9 Brunton Street.
