Chester H. McCall served as Assistant Secretary of Commerce (1933-1937) under Daniel C. Roper in the Franklin D. Roosevelt Administration. While in the Department of Commerce, McCall headed up the administrative, public relations, and publications efforts of the department's Bureau of Foreign and Domestic Commerce, National Bureau of Standards, and Bureau of Air Commerce.
