Arizona Historical Foundation mining records collection, 1878-1971 [manuscript].

The mining records collection contains primary and secondary source materials covering 60 years of Arizona mining history. Items in this collection include mine deeds, manuals, stocks, financial documents, correspondence, maps, reports, articles, and photographs. This collection includes four oversized boxes of ledgers, cash books, courtroom exhibits, and journals of early mining organizations. The quality of the materials ranges from poor for some of the ledgers and minute books to fair for most documents. All items in the oversized series, with the exception of the Tom Reed Gold Mining Company were in very poor condition. Pages with entries were removed from deteriorating covers and bindings. Frayed, mildewed, burned, and insect-damaged edges were trimmed. All original data have been preserved.

2.25 linear ft. (8 boxes).
