Spude, Robert L. S.
Variant namesBiographical note: Spude is a National Parks Service historian. The Oro Belle mining camp, located about 45 miles south of Prescott in Yavapai County, was discovered in 1873 and flourished between 1904 and 1912. It was finally abandoned in 1940.
