Century of Progress Records, 1928-1934

Collection consists primarily of souvenir booklets, brochures, pamphlets and guidebooks from the 1933 World's Fair. Additionally, the collection includes viewbooks, press releases from the Fair's publicity department, three scrapbooks and photographs. A unique component of the materials are pre-Fair publications (essays and transcripts of public addresses), dating from 1928-1933, and written as part of the Century of Progress' publicity and fundraising campaigns.
