Papers of Jane McIlvaine McClary [manuscript] 1947-1965.

The collection contains some business correspondence, clippings regarding: her family, her children's books, the Downington, Pa. Archive, and her 1953 trip to Russia. Issues, 1949-1951, of several magazines contain articles by or about the McIlvaines. There is also a writer's notebook, a travel diary, 1953, from a trip to Germany, and ink sketches for To win the hunt by Nelson McClary. A scrapbook contains Mrs. McClary's columns on fox hunting and Northern Virginia social life.
