The collection consists of a letter, 1886 May 3, Henderson Lee, Roanoke College, Salem, Va., to the Chairman of the Faculty of the University of Virginia (Charles S. Venable) seeking information on tuition and requirements at Virginia. An address [1895 Oct. 27] to the students of the University of Virginia from a faculty committee (James A. Harrison, William E. Peters, and R. Heath Dabney) praises them for their conduct during the Rotunda fire, asks their continued support, and annouces that arrangements have been made for the resumption of lectures.
