The collection contains letters to J. H. Nicholson; to Thomas Forman from Joseph Bryan; to John Rodgers and Mrs. Joseph Bryan on John Randolph Bryan's Navy service; and from Elizabeth Tucker Coalter. The collection also contains an order of Randolph's for payment of $100 to Cheston Ringgold, and a note from an undertaker on Randolph's measurements. A letter from Daniel Grinnan to Joseph Bryan, 1887, encloses his copy of Franics West's reminiscences of Randolph's death; and a letter from Lambert Tree to Joseph Bryan, 1904, discusses a Randolph document. The collection also contains John Randolph's prayer book, inscribed 1811, and presented to John St. George Randolph in 1818.
