Papers of Carolyn Heath Martin [manuscript], 1918-1922.

The collection contains papers and correspondence, 1918-1922, of Carolyn Heath Martin, from Paris with her family; letters to Martin from soldiers, colleagues in the Y.M.C.A., and friends; tourist photographs of German soldiers and World War I battle scenes; and Martin's passport. Topics include the fighting around Soissons, the seige of Paris, the armistice and the peace conference. The collection also contains photographs of "Cliveden," the Astor family home in England; a Christmas card from the "Cliveden Astors" with a note, presumably from Lady Astor; a photograph of the Astor family; and a typed letter signed "Nancy."
