Letters of Augustin Daly [manuscript], 1893-1897.

Daly wrote two of the letters in 1893 on letterhead of the Daly Theatre to unidentified correspondents. In a letter dated January 19, 1893, he asks thc correspondent to send Mr. Hillary Bell for some pictures. In a letter dated February 24, 1893, he mentions the actress Ada Rehan. In a letter to Robert Underwood Johnson dated April 27, 1897, written on the letterhead of the Aldine Hotel in Philadelphia, Daly mentions the closing night of one of his plays, and responds favorably to a request of Johnson's.
