Approximately 60 pieces in the hand of or copied for Fr. Antolin Merino, editor of the works of Fr. Luis de León. The collection includes a draft of part of the introduction to the works of León, with corrections; copies of letters written by León in reply to charges by the Inquisition and imprisonment; a text of the verse translation of the Cantar de los Cantares, with corrections.
