Interview with Judge Elbert P. and Mrs. Sara Sutherland Tuttle, May 25, 1988. In the interview Judge Tuttle discusses his secondary schooling in Hawaii, selection of Cornell by six of thirty-five in his graduating class, his arrival with brother and mother in Ithaca, his work on the CORNELL DAILY SUN, his impressions of E.B. White, his observations of preparation for World War I at Cornell, the couple's recollection of their courtship, her completion of a degree from Goucher College at Cornell, and his not remembering even an hour spent in the Cornell library.

Judge Elbert Parr Tuttle (1897-1996) was a member of the United States Court of Appeals for the 5th Circuit from 1954, and served as Chief Judge of that court from 1960 until his 70th birthday in 1967.
