He describes his decision to obtain a graduate degree in electrical engineering after the war and his subsequent employment with Douglas Aircraft. Norris and his contributions to High-Speed Computing Devices, and his work with John L. Hill and Arnold A. Cohen.

William C. Norris was born in 1911. He graduated from the University of Nebraska with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering in 1932.
